Font Identifier for Safari — Support

Font Identifier for Safari is a Safari extension for Mac and iPhone: a type inspector for Safari — hover (Mac) or tap (iPhone) any text to see the rendered font family, size, weight, line-height and color, with one-tap Copy CSS.

Getting started

Install the app from the App Store, then open it once.
Enable the extension:
iPhone/iPad: Settings → Apps → Safari → Extensions → enable it and allow it for any website you inspect.
Mac: Safari → Settings → Extensions → check the extension.
Open a page in Safari and use the extension’s toolbar button.

Troubleshooting

Nothing happens: make sure the extension is enabled in Safari settings and allowed for the site.
Something looks wrong: the app’s status screen confirms the extension is running; email us and we’ll fix it.
